Connecting Strava
Status: Available
Strava is an optional way in for runs from any watch or app that uploads there.
What Runsei reads from it
- Runs: distance, time, pace and laps
- Heart rate during each run
- Route
What Runsei can send to it
Planned sessions: no.
- Nothing. Strava has no path to a watch. To put a session on a watch, see the Sending a session to your watch article.
How to connect, step by step
- In Runsei open Profile, then Data hub, on the web or on the phone.
- Find Strava and tap Connect with Strava.
- Strava’s own sign-in opens. Approve access and you come back to Runsei.
- New runs arrive within minutes. You can also pull in your history.
What does not work
- Strava carries no sleep and no HRV.
- Heart rate arrives only if the recording device measured it. Some watches lose it on the way to Strava.
- Runsei never posts to your Strava account.
- If your watch has its own connection (Garmin, Suunto), you do not need Strava.
What you need
- Phone
- Any phone with the Runsei app, or the web app.
- App build
- A current Runsei app.
- Watch models
- Any watch or app that uploads runs to Strava.
