Suunto

Runsei is Suunto compatible. suunto.com

Runsei is an AI running coach that plans and adapts each runner’s training around their goals, their completed runs and their daily recovery.

When a runner connects their Suunto account, Runsei reads their Suunto runs, with the heart rate recorded during each run. It matches each run to the session that was planned, scores how it went, and adjusts the next sessions.

The data is used only to coach the runner it belongs to. It is never sold and never used for advertising, and disconnecting removes Runsei’s access to the runner’s Suunto account. Everything imported is deleted with the runner’s Runsei account.

What you get

  • Your Suunto runs arrive in Runsei by themselves after they sync to Suunto, with no file to export.
  • Each run brings its distance, time, laps, pace, route and heart rate. Runsei matches it to the session you had planned, scores how it went and adjusts the next sessions.
  • If the same run also reaches Runsei another way, you still get one run.

How to connect

Connecting is open to every runner. In Runsei open Profile → Data hub (the Connections screen), find Suunto and tap Connect. Suunto’s own sign-in opens; approve access and you are back in Runsei. Step by step: Connecting Suunto.

What Runsei reads, and what it does not

Runsei reads your Suunto runs and the heart rate recorded during them. It does not read your Suunto sleep, HRV or resting heart rate (Apple Health and Health Connect bring those), it does not change anything in your Suunto account, and it does not send planned sessions to your Suunto watch for you; a session can be saved as a .fit workout file to load yourself.

Disconnect and delete

Disconnect any time from the same screen: Runsei deletes the access it stored for your Suunto account and stops receiving your runs. Runs already imported stay in your Runsei history until you delete them or delete your account, which removes them and everything else Runsei holds. See the privacy policy and the documentation.
