Delete your Runsei account

Runsei is operated by Improva Labs ApS (CVR 46606558), Denmark.

How to delete it

You can do this yourself, from inside Runsei, on any device:

  1. Open Runsei on the web at runsei.app, or in the iPhone or Android app.
  2. Go to Profile (your avatar, top right) → Delete account.
  3. Read what it tells you — it shows your own numbers, so you can see exactly what you are about to lose — and confirm by typing the confirmation it asks for.

If you can no longer sign in, email support@runsei.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

You have 14 days to change your mind

Deleting is scheduled, not instant. Your account keeps working normally for 14 days — nothing is hidden and nothing is degraded — and we email you to confirm the request and to say when it will happen. Cancel any time in that window from the same screen, and everything simply carries on. After 14 days it is deleted permanently and cannot be recovered.

What is deleted

Everything tied to your account, permanently:

  • Your login and profile — name, email, date of birth, sex, country, preferences.
  • Your training — every plan and phase, planned and completed runs, laps, splits, routes, personal bests, zones, and your training history.
  • Your health and recovery data — heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, body mass, and any injuries or constraints you logged.
  • Your coach conversations, including voice notes and anything you attached.
  • Your connections to Strava, Apple Health and Health Connect, and the tokens behind them.
  • Your notification and device records.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Encrypted backups — our database is backed up automatically, and those backups roll off within 30 days. Deleted data can disappear from a backup only as that backup expires; it is never restored into the live service.
  • Records we are legally required to retain — for example, accounting records if you ever paid us. Runsei is free during testing, so for most people there are none.

Nothing is kept for marketing, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone for their own purposes. Deleting your Runsei account does not touch your data in Strava, Apple Health or Health Connect — those are yours and stay where they are.

Deleting some of your data, without closing your account

You do not have to delete everything to delete something. All of this is in the app, and none of it requires asking us:

  • A single run — open it and delete it. Its splits, route and heart rate go with it, and your zones and training load are recalculated without it.
  • An injury or a life constraint you logged — remove it under Profile.
  • A connected source — disconnect Strava, Apple Health or Health Connect under Profile → Data sources, which also revokes the access token we hold.
  • Your profile photo, and any device you have used, which also stops notifications to it.
  • Your calendar feed — revoke the link at any time.

You can also export everything Runsei holds about you from Profile before you decide. And if you want something removed that is not in that list, email support@runsei.com from the address on your account and we will do it — that is your right under GDPR, not a favour.
