Runsei for Wear OS

Status: Beta

A Runsei watch app for Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch and other Wear OS watches. It is in beta.

What Runsei reads from it

  • The run you record on the watch: heart rate, GPS, speed and distance, plus cadence, elevation and calories where the watch has them

What Runsei can send to it

Planned sessions: yes.

  • Your next planned session (the watch holds one at a time), with its steps and target pace or heart rate, from your Android phone.

How to connect, step by step

  1. Open the Runsei app on your Android phone.
  2. Open Profile, then Data hub, find Runsei for Wear OS and tap Get the app.
  3. Install Runsei from Google Play on the watch.
  4. Keep the watch near the phone. Your next planned session then appears on the watch.

What does not work

  • It is a beta. It has been built and tested in code, not yet run end to end on a real watch.
  • The watch holds one session at a time: the next one.
  • Wear OS 2 and older watches cannot run it.
  • It does not bring sleep or HRV. For those, connect Health Connect.

Phone
An Android phone with the Runsei app, paired with the watch.
App build
A current Runsei Android app, and the Runsei watch app from Google Play.
Watch models
A Wear OS 3 or newer watch, such as Galaxy Watch4 and later or a Pixel Watch. See the compatible devices below.

Last checked 28 Oct 2026. Tested means someone used that exact model with Runsei. Should work means the code or the maker’s own pages say it does, not yet tried on that model. Not supported and Not known are what they say.
