Telling Runsei what your life allows

A constraint is something about your life — not your body — that shapes how you can train: frequent travel, shift work, a midweek evening you can never run, only a treadmill for half the month, no hills where you live.

Just say it in the chat. *"I'm away most weeks and usually only have a hotel treadmill"* is enough. Your coach records it as a short labelled note and plans around it from then on — it doesn't have to be re-explained every week.

A constraint is not an injury. Injuries are tracked separately, because they change what is *safe* rather than what is *possible*, and they are expected to resolve. A constraint just is.

What it changes. Sessions get shaped to what you can actually do rather than to an ideal week — treadmill-friendly work when you're travelling, your long run moved off the day you can never run. It is not an excuse note: the goal stays the goal, and the plan takes the route that fits your life.

You can see and remove them under Profile → Life conditions, which is what the app calls constraints. Removing one doesn't rewrite past sessions — it changes what gets planned next.
