Changing how your coach talks to you
If the coach says too much, too little, or lays it out in a way you don't like, just say so in the chat. *"Keep it shorter"*, *"stop using tables"*, *"give me more detail"* — it takes effect from the next message and stays that way.
Two independent settings sit behind it:
- Length — *brief*, *balanced* or *full*. How much your coach says.
- Structure — *plain*, *balanced* or *rich*. How much scaffolding it uses: headings, bullets, tables.
They're separate on purpose. You can have short replies that still use bullets, or long ones written as plain prose. Change one and the other stays where it was.
What it does not change. Style is presentation, not substance. Asking for shorter replies never removes something you need to know — a safety point or a change to your plan is said either way, just with less around it.
You can change it back at any time by saying so, and there's nothing to configure first. The same two settings are under Settings → AI coaching → How the coach writes.
