Best efforts — your fastest recorded stretches

Your best efforts are the fastest continuous stretches inside your recorded runs — your quickest 1 km, 5 km, 10 km and so on. They don't have to come from a race: a hard tempo buried in a long run counts, because the effort happened whether or not it had a bib number.

They're facts, not predictions. They live in your profile, under Personal bests, beside your other numbers — not on the results screen, which answers "is the training working?". A past best is something you did; a race projection is something the model thinks you could do, and mixing the two makes both harder to trust.

Honest about the window. The list covers your recent months rather than your whole life, and says so on the card. Runsei doesn't claim an all-time record it never saw. Each row opens the run it came from, so you can always check what it actually was.
