Your normal, over time — is your baseline improving?

Recovery answers "how am I *today*, against my normal?". That's a different question from "is my normal itself getting better?", and mixing them hides the slow win: as you get fitter your resting heart rate tends to fall and your HRV to rise, but a today-vs-normal reading can never show it — the normal moves with you.

So Runsei keeps the long question separate, on Insights → Absorption, under *Your normal, over time*. Each point is a 30-day median of your mornings, stepped weekly, over up to a year, for resting heart rate, HRV and sleep.

What it will and won't say. It makes no claim at all until there are roughly two months of mornings behind it, and it calls a change *steady* unless it clears that signal's own noise threshold — a one-beat wiggle in resting heart rate is measurement, not fitness. When it does report a direction it says which way is the good one for that signal, and it never turns an unfavourable drift into a verdict on you: the words are "worth watching", not blame. Readings you've marked invalid are excluded.
